Exzakt would be happy to hear I'm back on board with Lif. I finally got around to listening to it (was neglecting to do so after how disappointed I was in Mo Mega). I think leaving Def Jux was a good move for Lif. Because while I like El-P beats, I feel Lif does better over other production. His flow is just way better than it was on Mo Mega (but still not as good as I Phantom). He sounds more comfortable, confident, and above all - not (nearly as) whiny as Mo Mega. He's maturing well with this one.

My rating: 4.25 stars

How so? Mo Mega is easily Lif's worst IMO. He was whiny as fuck on that record.

barely moreso than this, and the production must have cost about 50 cents, literally for the awful beats on this album

when VINNE PAZ is lyrically raping you, its time to find a new job.

LOL...Vinnie Paz was not that tight IMO. But I'm not much of a fan. I suppose he was good for what he was doing, but he was pretty 1-dimensional.

I liked the beats, but I can see someone liking El-P's more. I just didn't think Lif fit over them very nicely....he fits better here IMO.
