I was listening to Terror Strikes the other day, which of course ends with this classic track:
It's gotta be one of the best if not the best SPC posse cut I've heard. Dope beat, great verses (especially from Ganksta NIP), doesn't take forever, just all around great. I'm wondering what you guys think the best SPC posse cut is and your reasons for picking it. I've heard a lot but I know I haven't heard them all, hoping to hear some new dopeness or revisit dope tracks.

This is my favorite one because K-Rino is sitting on a quilt eating ice cream and milk. Plus this album has skyrocketed up my rankings. I really wish Dope-E had more output than he does

My fav probably is the one off that Terrorist album. This may be my 2nd fav one. I luv the beat to this one and they got the whole SPC on this bitch!!
The one on 20-2-Life album goes hard also.

Ah yeah that's a really dope one. K-Rino really liked using those eerie 8-bit video game style beats on his albums back then.

Sigh...I'm on the outside looking in on this whole crew. Idk what it is, but I just don't see the genius behind K-Rino that everyone else seems to. Is there a definitive album that I should peep to get into it? I wanna be cool too! lol...but seriously.

Have you listened to any K-Rino or SPC albums before? I'm just asking so I know not to rec something you've heard before.
Also I'm still an SPC noob compared to guys like Lounge, KRob, Terry, Shaun and Cock Sippa, hopefully one of those guys can help you out as well.
EDIT: Lundquist and Jeff probably have heard more SPC than me as well
EDIT: Unrelated but I'm getting my mind blown by Kingpin Skinny Pimp and Koopsta Knicca right now

About a year ago or so (maybe two) when I started seeing everybody praising K-Rino on here I was only able to find Book Number 7 and The Blood Doctrine for DL so I got those. I liked them for the most part but I wasn't really feeling the beats all that much so I got bored. I could tell he was on some deeper shit but it wasn't enough to hold my interest. I've seen people on here claim he's in GOAT contention and it makes me feel like I'm missing something. Clearly, Syrup is a fan but I don't take anything he says seriously. As far as the rest of the crew, I know nothing about it. Obviously there is shit out there that is just not for me but it seems like there has to be something I'll dig with such an extensive catalog.

Hmm well I think those are two of K-Rino's best albums. I would recommend Solitary Confinement, but the beats are pretty similar to the ones on Blood Doctrine so I'm not sure how much more you'd like it. I also recommend Danger Zone for an idea of what his early material sounded like. K-Rino sounds a lot angrier, and raps over much more minimal and typically darker production. He was crazy lyrical back then too so there's no worries there, but again I'm not sure if it will really click with you. By the time I heard that album I was already drinking the Kool-Aid so to speak.
But I'd say before listening to any more K-Rino, you might want to check out some stuff from other members of the SPC. I'd say check out Terrorists - Terror Strikes: Always Bizness, Never Personal and Ganksta NIP - South Park Psycho. The Terrorists album might be more your thing, Dope E is a smoother rapper than K-Rino (in my opinion) and the beats on the album are really good, a lot of them have a somewhat ambient sound that is pretty unique in my opinion. And of course it features the best SPC posse cut in my opinion. The Ganksta NIP album is just classic horrorcore with great storytelling and a lot of variety in the beats. It's definitely raw and can sound a bit dated at times but I think it's one of the easiest SPC albums to get into, and I like NIP's morbid sense of humor.
Hopefully you'll like one of those two albums, and if you try the K-Rino albums I mentioned let me know what you think. Of course I'm still digging into the SPC crates myself so there are probably a bunch of gems I haven't heard yet, but I think those albums are dope and a good way to get into the group.
If you're looking for some dope thrash metal check out Slaughter In The Vatican by Exhorder.

Wand, Rino really is not for everybody. You really have to be a fan of this style of rhyming and be able to get past his average rap voice and delivery. His GOAT praise for me comes from his lyricism and subject matter/concepts.
IMo these are his best produced albums so they may vibe with u better:
Annihilation Of The Evil Machine Fear No Evil Time Traveler Worst Rapper Alive Solitary Confinement The Hit List
Those so far to me are as close as Rino beats will get to accessible.

Alien Baby is pretty well-produced. It's hard to take that album seriously due to the unfortunate artwork.

I meant to add Alien Baby. I co-sign. With his last two albums Rino seems to be going backwards in the production dept. Not feeling the beats really on neither project.

You should really take me seriously cuz I'm the smartest person on this board. K-Rino is dope, but if it ain't your style it just ain't your style you know? I mean I think Smoke DZA is fucking garbo son... but some people love him.... you know? Different strokes.
I need to post some youtube vids I guess though cuz all the newer posse tracks aren't on youtube... like on the new hood element CD they got a track called "The Coalition" with like 20 SPC rappers...

Syrup, I just meant cuz you fuck around so much it's hard to tell when youre actually being serious. And I'll peep some of the above mentioned and also revisit the ones I have. Sometimes the mood or setting just isn't right for some shit. I haven't bumped K-Rino in the whip yet, and like Preemo says, that's the ultimate test. And btw, I love Smoke DZA..lol. Weed raps all day! Thanks for the feedback fellas.

I was fucking with you on the smoke dza shit, but I don't take shit serious mane! I do think K-Rino is top 5 for me... and that's in all seriousness. Also, I would avoid any posse cuts for the most part since not all of the SPC rappers or related are that great. I really like Alien Baby, bumped that like 3 times straight on a recent drive to houston... felt right...
