| Just spun Rhymefest "Blue Collar" for the first time in about a year. This album is under the radar for sure. Songs like "Brand New", "More", "Chicagorillas", "Tell a Story", etc.....I could listen to over and over. I appreciate KRob recommending this a couple of years ago. Anyone check out "El Che"? I've never checked it out and was wondering if it's on par with this release.
If you haven't heard this go and check it out. You might like it. | |

| I actually like El Che better. I think I'm the only one that does, tho. Blue collar was dope too but I thought that El Che sounded more polished. Highlights from that album include Talk My Shit, Say Wassup feat. Phonte, One Hand Push Up, Prosperity, Truth On You feat Twone Gabz, Chicago, and (my fav) City Is Falling feat Slique.
And really I think El Che is the slept on album. Blue Collar got quite of bit of shine from what I remember. Kanye had a lot to do with that album's popularity with the people I knew. I don't think I was on the forum yet when Blue Collar was released so I don't know how it was received here.

| I wasn't digging El Che too much but I definitely need to revisit both of these. I remember liking Dynomite because of the Just Blaze production. | |

| Yeah I bumped this album recently after a long break and it still sounds good. Too bad he is not consistent. El Che is okay but I only spinned it once. And never had the urge to do so again. I'll put it on deck though. I had high expectations for his 2nd album. Rhymefest has skills no doubt. | |

| I remember you (and I, for that matter) were really anticipating El Che before it dropped, Kev. I think I only spun it once or twice, couldn't get down with it I guess. Blue Collar is like 4.25-4.5 stars to me, though. Rhymefest can, an always has been able to rhyme his ass off | |
