9th Prince albums are better than the Rza's

Now Rza is a far superior artist than his brother. Hell, I wouldn't even call 9th Prince an artist just a rapper. Anywhoo, 9th Prince,IMO, released 2 solid albums with hardly any skippable tracks. Some people say Prince of New York captures that classic Wu sound. While all of RZA/Bobby Digital's album leaves much too be desired. None of RZAs album ever left me with anything . They aren't bad but they do have alotta wack songs on them, and a wack song by Rza really is a WACK fucken song, trust me, nobody in the clan can make a song wacker than the RZa. Alot of songs were RZa just came with lackluster lyrics. His albums are forgettable for the most part. I also like the way 9th Prince has that WWE wrestler trash talk type flow. Dont know why Rza hasn't made a spectacular album yet.

i don't remember prince of new york, but I agree, RZA has never put out a great album.

I agree Steve, respect RZA but he struggled solo in my opinion. 9th will never get the following but RZA doesn't even come close lyrically, if it wasn't for his production legacy and so many guest artists I'd probably leave them shits on the shelf.

Bobby Digital's first album is a classic, but 9th Prince's albums are probably better than RZA's others...

I agree that RZA makes doodoo solo albums, and I do like 9th Prince's albums.

That said, I think RZA is waaaaay underrated as an emcee. He's put down some of the strongest verses out of the entire 'Clan. And his flow is legendary. You can pick that fucker out of an ocean of emcees rhyming all at once.

9th Prince on the other hand is pretty terrible when it comes to mic-skills. I'm really not sure how anyone can see anything else.

Back in the Wu Tang hay day I would completely agree with you Parker, that's why I do own everything Rza has ever released and wish he kept that Gravediggaz style. But 9th Prince is just a breath of fresh air after digging through most of this new shit out these days. He's a living flash back to the good ol days to me.

I haven't heard any of 9th Prince's solos, but after looking at this thread, I may check em out.

Rza is underrated as an lyricist and rapper period. His flow is not legendary but it does stand out. He has a east coast E-40 flow going.
