| The more I listen to this guy, the more I appreciate his talents. I'm referring to Masta Ace. I don't know what I missed the last times I played "Disposable Arts" and "A Long Hot Summer", but since I added to my collection, both albums have completely won me over. His albums with Edo. G & MF Doom, respectively, were excellent, as well as the eMC album "The Show", and I'll be adding "Slaughtahouse" & "Sittin On Chrome" to my collection soon, something I should've done YEARS ago, lol. His first album "Take A Look Around" is out of print, so it may take a while to add that one (and none of the sites have an MP3 download either, sadly). Underrated and underappreciated, but to this day MAD nice on the mic and he's gotten better with age, which is something not too many artists can say. | |

| "Slaughtahouse" is one of my favorite albums. I also have the EMC. His other solos are too expensive for these pockets, but I still keep an eye out for them just in case. | |

| eMC the show is awesome - love the beats.
Masta Ace cannot carry an album for shit for me though - his voice is so damn boring.

| Ace is a very highly skilled emcee, and a great storyteller. Disposable Arts is a timeless classic, and Long Hot Summer is just as good. Not to many guys like this around anymore.
He says on his website that he will be releasing a deluxe version of Disposable Arts to celebrare its 10th anniversary. The deluxe version will have extra tracks as well as some of the songs being performed with a live band.
Should be a good LP if it ever drops.
Yeah, Ace is dope (#2 on my list of favorites).

"Disposable Arts" is one of few albums that have grown on me this year, and I'm still trying to get my hands on "Take A Look Around".

Yep, I recently copped all of Masta Ace's albums via MP3 download on Amazon. "Take A Look Around" is not up for MP3 for some reason, and considering it's OOP, the costs are extremely high for that album. The only one I have a physical copy of is the EMC album.

I should've had "Take A Look Around" a long time ago, but it's all good. I'll eventually cop it. At this point, I'm trying not to pay over $13.99 for a CD (and it depends on the artist too, lol).

| Take A Look Around sounds too dated for my tastes. If you like the 80s sound, you will def love it. | |

| I have "Take A Look Around" on cassette...it's pretty much obsolete now. But, I do have a tape player in my car, so I can listen to it when I want...as long as the player doesn't get hungry and eat it on me. | |
