A$AP Rocky - Long.Live.A$AP

To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to this joint at all. I have never thought Rocky has stood out at all on anything he's ever been on. He kinda just blends in. I was really lukewarm on this after one spin but after a few spins there are def some really enjoyable and some damn good joints on here. His lyrics are subpar at best, but the production and the features are dope to me. I was really surprised to see the Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine) feature on the deluxe version but the song was pretty cool. I will give it a 3.5.

This is the dopest song on the album, IMO. I think the forum would appreciate this song over any other.

I used to hate A$ap, right now I'd say I'm indifferent at best towards him. I haven't given this a real proper listen yet (I'll check it out more attentively when I get home), but from what I checked out he seems to get outshined quite a bit by his features regularly. There's nothing really stand-out about him as an emcee.

1Train is really dope. There's a best verse in a song thread on it.

I feel the same as both of you. I was never interested in checking him out. I peeped the album and it is decent. Nothing original or mind blowing about his style or album but its a decent listen.

I def agree he gets outshined every damn time. And there is zero original about his style. He's basically a poor man's Schoolboy Q. But overall the album is cool because of the beats and features.
