Not listening to shit with rappers who are so ig'nant they put $ in their name. Yeah...it's not nearly as clever as putting the number 2 in your name like 2Pac.

Yeah, naming yourself for a revolutionary movement really lacks that "clever" factor huh? Really shows an allout appeal to commercialism, a lack of thought, and any depth, huh? Dumb ass.

| I aggree with Steve. Anywhoo, that was a boring a$$ cypher cause them dudes have boring a$$ flows. Joey Bada$$ got lyrics, no doubt but his flow ain't developed. Action Bronson is overrated to me | |

| What movement? His name came from a person... who never spelled his name with a number.
Bada$$ is dope, but I agree his flow is kinda boring at times. I'm looking forward to seeing an official album from him.

| Older rappers simply have better, stronger flows. Creating your flow takes time. I'll check Joey mean he's bout 23. Funny I was just listening to Violent By Design and the rappers featured on there Vinnie Paz, Virtuoso, Esoteric, Outta Space flows weren't that great compared to how much they improved espeaccially Virtouso, he sounds like a completely diffrernt rapper | |

| His "name" is Tupac. And the 2 is fucking irrelevant. | |

| Is it irrelevant? Because it's exactly what Wan was talking about.
Tupac Amaru II is irrelevant to this discussion.

Tupac Amaru II is irrelevant to this discussion. Glad someone gets it. 2Pac is a legend, I'm not hating on him. I was just pointing out that he, just as ridiculously, chose to use a stage name with a number (or symbol, or Big, or Lil, or Young) in it. Idk, sometimes these comments that Steve makes are just ridiculous. It's not like he said, "Joey Bada$$ sucks. I hate that guy." That would at least imply some sort of opinion based on data that he may have gathered by spinning a few tracks. Nope. He says rappers with $ in their name are ignorant. An absolute assumption about some dumb shit.

| I always thought 2Pac was a clever play on his real name. Like he was "too packed" or something. On his first album there is a gun within the spelling of his name which supports the reason for 2Pac. | |

| That was decent. But I can't get past the fact that Action Bronson sounds so much like Ghostface Killa. I agree with Trotter tho. I check out the young emcees every so often, but they don't have much substance to their stuff. I would like to hear something more from them, and in order for me to do so, I'd have to wait until they are older. |
