| This has tons of replay value. Genzu Dean's production is real entertaining to me... sort of low-fi sounding. It fits Planet Asia perfectly.
Nothing Planet Asia has ever done has caught my interest like this album.

I kind of went in on that expecting PA to be a higher level lyricist. It just disappointed the shit out of me. I bet after I sit with this a bit I can return to the Muggs album & appreciate.

| yeah he kind of adapted to muggs blunted sound and slowed down his delivery like that. Ill bill did the samewith his vs. album compared to the ultra aggressive delivery on his previous albums. It works for me but I get what you're saying. P.A.'s EP from back in the day and his work with peanut butter wolf and cali agents is sharper lyrically |

Makes sense. Gensu Dean's album is called Lo-Fi Fingaz. Also on Mello Music. I've got it but haven't listened to it enough for an opinion. Guests are roc Marciano, brand Nubian reunion track, Large Pro, count bass d, david banner. You might dig that one by the sounds of it |

| I honestly never heard of that album. I guess he achieved the sound he's looking for.
I had no idea this was MMG. It's the first album from outta there that I listened to more than once.

| Parker, what mello music albums have you heard? I know you don't like Apollo Brown much but they have other producers that are dope as well. Gensu Dean, Dunc and Oddisee in particular and they sound nothing like Apollo....Has Lo is cool as well. The beats on Diamond District are crazy
Just listened to Gensu Dean - Lo Fi Fingahz properly. Their is about an EP worth of dope material. The no name mc's on here are no name for a reason apart from the Melatone track (I never heard of him) that one was cool. Production is on point the whole way. The Brand Nubian track is nothing special and the David Banner track sounds out of place on here. The Large Pro track is my favorite along with the Blame One, Prince Po and the solo track by roc marc, he has two on here.
Inside the cover their is a fucking essay about how awesome he is and hinting this album is a classic then it says it's up to you to decide haha
I'm more of a fan of the one MC/Group and 1 producer albums so i'm looking forward to hearing this Planet Asia

| I'm pretty sure I've heard Oddisee. I don't think it was awful, because I would remember more clearly. But, that also means I wasn't too impressed for whatever reason.
I liked Has-Lo back on Small Sharp Metal Objects or whatever it was called. His MMG music puts me to sleep.
I'm pretty sure there were others. Juice at Amazon rec'd them a lot and I was chased the first 4-5 down before giving up. I might be confusing Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Kendrick & them type dudes I can't stand, too.

| This shit is dope is fuck. Gensu and PA complement each other really well. Black Belt Theatre was a top 5 album for me last year and I like this one maybe just as much. I like the overall sound and balance of Abrasions more than BBT but it didn't have the same highs. I'll give it a tentative 4.0 and see how it sticks. | |

| This album was alright, it got a little repetitive to me. P Asia has way better albums Parker, including PAin Language, the Medicine, and the Grand Opening | |

| This was good but I think Pain Language, Black Belt Theater & 360 Waves are better than this. | |
