Going to the mid-west we take a look at a producer that was taken way too early from us, J Dilla. From his work with Slum Village and Madlib, to his solo instrumental albums ( 3 posthumous ) he's worked from artists all over the place.

I'm not a huge fan of Dilla, but i'd be hard pressed to find 50 that are better.

Although he has been overrated by many, he's still easily top 25.
