Let's go down to the south and throw out a RIP to a good asset to hip hop, Pimp C. Man had sick production on UGK albums and worked with other artists. Definitely deserves a good spot IMO.

I'll say Top 50. He's not an immediate fav but I agree that some of those UGK beats are bangin and the biggest reason why I became a UGK fan. I doubt that there's 50 better producers.

Pimp C is easily top 25. I doubt most people are familiar with his production because it was obscure outside of his UGK work but he had dope classic production throughout.

X-Mob, CCC, BoBo Luchiano, etc - the bulk of Pimp C's production was done for smaller southern groups that never got much exposure... I define that as obscure.
