thanks fellas, just trying to get an idea. I'll eventually be picking up all of these but i got some extra cash this week so i'm gonna spend around 50 dollars on music.

Kev, is that "No Mercy" a pretty good place to start with K-Rino? I've heard good things about it.

I was expecting a little more love for the Dela album. Any thoughts on that one?

Tonya Morgan "Brooklynnati"
Marco Polo "Double Barrel"
The Coup "Steal This Album"
The Jacka "Tear Gas"
K-Rino "No Mercy"

These are the ones I own.

Tonya Morgan has nice production, overrated by a few folks on this forum, but the emceeing doesn't ruin the album.

Marco Polo - Production is the strong point again, I prefer the emceeing on this to the TM CD but overall it is not essential.

The Coup is an essential album. My favorite from them and just dope all around.

The Jacka is dope too. I'm a big fan, but Tran liked it a lot. It is on a some street tip for parts of it but the production is dope and catchy.

K-Rino - Can't go wrong with this man. This being cheap on amazon I absolutely recommend it, but if you don't mind spending 25 in K-Rino you can get 3 of his CDs shipped for that much on ebay, including this one.

SRP you shouldn't lie about owning albums like Tanya Morgan and the Torae. We all know all you listen to is southern rap, so don't lie about it.

Company Flow "Fancrusher Plus"
Cunninlynguists "Will Rap For Food"
The Coup "Steal This Album"
La Coka Nostra "A Brand You Can Trust"
The Jacka "Tear Gas"
K-Rino "No Mercy"
Immortal Techinique "Vol. 2"

I don't own the CL, Coup, LCN, or Jacka's but I've heard good things about all of them. Vol 2 and Funcrusher are classics IMO though.

Dela "Changes of Atmosphere"- Really dope, jazzy album. One of the best albums that came out last year. "I Say Peace" featuring J-Live and "How To Fish" featuring Reach are the standout songs for me on the album.

La Coka Nostra "A Brand You Can Trust"- My second favorite album this year so far. "The Stain" is among my favorite songs this year.

The Jacka "Tear Gas"- Like SRP said, solid album. Excellent cameos.

Panacea "Ink Is My Drink"- My favorite album from this dynamic duel. Everything just flows perfectly for me.

As for the 5th one, might I make a suggestion- Lushlife- Cassette City. Seriously E. Taylor, I think you'll dig this one quite a bit seeing how our taste is pretty much the same (no homo). This album just flows perfectly for me. Nothing but dopeness.

I went with these:

Cunninlynguists "Will Rap For Food"
Tonya Morgan "Brooklynatti"
The Coup "Steal This Album"
K-Rino "No Mercy"
Immortal Tech "Vol. 2"

Then threw this in:

MC Ren "Shock of The Hour"-Been looking for an affordable copy for a while now. Down under $12 now so i had to jump on it while i could.

Immortal Techinique "Vol. 2"

Dela "Changes of Atmosphere"
Cunninlynguists "Will Rap For Food"

I would have picked Co Flow, but many people seem to hate it. It would make my top 5 on the list though.
