hmm Papoose had me waiting for an album, but that shit's never going to happen, and I've lost interest so I could really give a shit now.. as for Bishop Lamont I've heard some songs from mixtapes and he's a good rapper, I'd wouldn't mind hearing an full length from him.

Stat Quo's Statlanta drops this Oct on SHADY RECORDS according to the HHDX release dates page.

That doesn't mean jack. If you can't pre-order that album on most retail websites, or there is little to no talk about it, then its definitely not going to drop.

Statlanta was supposed to drop in like '03

I'll take that bet J.Harris, Eminem doesn't announce album that don't drop. Once Em gives something a release date, it comes out.

A. Scott, Term put out an album last year called "Politics As Usual". It was solid, the tracklist looked better than the album sounded, though. I'd give it just under 4 stars, probably. He also has a new one coming out on the 22nd(?)

Papoose and Corey Gunz are the guys that come to mind for me.

I beg to differ. Em said on Game's Documentary album "Don't worry, Detox is coming, we're gonna make Dre do it!" and we're still waiting.

Corey Gunz especially. I'm eager to hear his album if it ever drops. After I saw that freestyle he did while riding in some SUV (I think it was on youtube or something), I was more interested in hearing more material from him. To be honest, Corey really doesn't have that sugar, bubble gum rap. That's why he is getting shoved around in the industry. Same thing goes for Papoose.

Man you really checking for COrey Gunz? IMO he will just be another one of these new school fly by night I got 4 mixtapes and no album ass rappers. These kids have lyrical rhymes and flow skills but most do not know how to make complete albums or songs. Nor do they stay around long enough to perfect their craft most want instant stardom/props.

I'm hoping it won't come to that with him, but who knows. Last I heard, he was working with Nick Cannon and to use him as a medium to put out his music. I guess another bites the dust. You are right about these new rappers though Kev. They don't do research on hip hop like they should and come with albums that are straight garbage.

Corey Gunz is a dope ass freestyler. Whether or not he ends up being a dope track maker remains to be seen, but I've liked most of what I've heard from him so far.
