Lyrical Beast

Outta these ten who is the most lyrical to you?

Toss up between GZA, Pharoahe, Vakill, and Canibus for me. I voted Vakill.

a case could be made for all of them, but i voted for GZA cause he's the highest on my personal favorites list.

It came down to Eminem and Canibus for me, I went with Canibus.

I went with Rino even though I almost picked Kane or Method Man.

I don't see Mef as lyrical per se, he has dope punchlines but lyrically he's above average at best.

Yeah he's more of a punchline rhymer which still can be viewed as lyrical.

All these dudes are lyrical in their own way so it really depends on what you appreciate most. Like as far as crazy scientific shit it'd be hard to fuck with canibus. But on that gritty/social shit it'd be hard to top Ras. Vakill got that battle/street shit rhymes, etc. etc.


Personally I give it to K-Rino.

Where's Red? Pretty sure everyone can agree he places before Meth if not more of 'em.

Red is funny dude, but I don't think he could hang with the true true lyrical dudes. I see Red kind of like ludacris... funny dudes, good punchlines, but more entertainers than true lyricists..

I woudn't go as far as saying Redman is better than Meth as a lyricist, but he's no slouch. Plus he makes much better albums.

SRP your vote for Rino is not showing. I spell Em that way because that that is how it is listed in my itunes.

Meth is more lyrical than Red imo but Red is more entertaining and makes betta albums like Terry said.
