Gang Starr is in my top 10 personally. After No More Mr. Nice Guy, which is still pretty good IMO, they dropped classic after classic.

Gangstarr is Top 50 for sure. They have at least 2 classics under their belt (some would argue 3 or 4) and all of their albums are at least 4 stars.

Gang starr has some of the best production in hip hop, a lot of times i hear one of their beats and it just trips me out how something can sound so perfect. When i hear a beat like Above The Clouds i have to stop to take it in. My problem with Gang Starr was i have never been the biggest fan of Guru. When i place Gang Starr on my personal list 100 list its always around 50, so right now im not sure how to vote. I also dont remember what we are trying to come up with this list we are voting on, are we voting based on skill or who had an impact and belongs in the top 50 or is this all personal opinion.

My favorite Gang Starr record is Step In The Arena.
