Cormega blasts Drake

I read that article. I think Cormega meant to state that in another way. Instead of blasting the guy for having money readily available to him, he should have just spoken on Drake's delivery, which IMO, is just tired and lazy. How many times do we have to talk about money, cars, hoes, etc. That is really tired, but it's mainstream fodder, and the chicks eat that up. Drake has a hussle going on as far as promotion/marketing that allows him to keep the cash flowing in. Drake is just a fad for right now. Soon enough, the masses will move to another mainstream target.

im really happy that Mega was actually honest when talking about an artist like Drake. Most older MC's when asked about a specific new MC they always just say "oh i respect what theyre doin, im feelin their shit, blah blah blah" at least Mega's honest

Look, for all the bitching and moaning about Drake, I for one am glad he's on the scene. Much like Lil Wayne, at least the dude has some iota of talent as opposed to the Souljah Bois of hip hop. I'll bitch about Drake the day that the New Boyz stop putting out records, and I'll be happy to do it, until then kids like Cudi and Drake may not be my thing but at least they work their asses off and deserve at least some shine.

Yep, these semi old school rappers don't wanna seem like they're hatin' and they give new school rappers props so to sound hitherto but Cormega let out a whole lotta hate.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the honesty from Cormega, I'm just saying there are plenty of other mc's that are more deserving of his vitriol.
