50 Cent "Before I Self Destruct"

Anyone heard anything off of this. Any chance we get a return to the dopeness of GRODT or will it be more of the same?

I hate the first single with Ne-Yo. The only other song I have heard is Psycho w/Eminem. It's not whack but it's not trying to see Patiently Waiting imo.

I listened to a leak of the album, and I thought it was pretty dope. A couple of throwaways, but besides those, it's a solid album. 50 sounds hungry again.

Agreed. It's a 4 star album. Easily his best effort since GRODT.

Definitely a 4 star album. Might go up or down like .25 with time but overall it's definitely his best and his most consistent album since GRODT.

It's definitely a solid album.

I've read good things, here and other sites, and even though I have an unreasonable dislike for 50 Cent, I think I'll be checking this out soon.

Well, the beats are dope. 50 usually gets some dope beats on his album, but the lyrics are elementary as hell. Not only that, his mumbling is very annoying. I know he was shot close to his mouth, but I feel he is lazy on the mic. I will say that he came raw on this album, and the pop tracks are minimal to none. If he worked on his delivery a little more, I would have considered maybe buying this joint. Again, I do have to say most of the beats are raw as hell. Cats like Heltah Skeltah would have ripped these beats to pieces.
