There is this bootleg floating around on the internet with songs from 2Pac and Z-Ro called "Found God" - that's a good sampling...
if you want an album I recommend The Life of Joseph McIvey or Let The Truth Be Told.

man, that's tough. You'll get a different answer from everyone. I think I'm Still Livin is the best of his Rap A Lot releases

His earlier stuff is all dope too. Out of the 17 or so Z-Ro albums i own, only one has ever disappointed me, and that was Z-Ro Tolerance

There is not one Z-Ro album I do not like. But some people do not like Look What You Did To Me because it is rougher you could say... it is probably my favorite RO album personally.
King of the Ghetto and Z-Ro v. The World are dope but it is more features and less cohesive than his RAL time.

Yeah I agree with Joseph McVey, Truth Be Told, and Still Livin'. His pre RAL releases are decent to good but the production is not as strong as his RAL releases imo. Once you become a fan of his newer stuff than I say move to the older.
