Best "Debut" verse vol. 1

Who has the best "debut" verse out of these three rappers. The criteria is they have to be on another persons album and even if it is not the rappers actual first verse, it is the verse that exposed them to the mainstream and/or a wider audience.

here are the volume 1 nominees:

AZ on "Lifes A Bitch" from Illmatic
Big L on "Represent" off Runaway Slave
Nas on "Live at the BBQ" from Breaking Atoms

Most of you are going to say L's first appearance was on Lord Finesse's "Yes You May Remix" but that was only a b-side and since it never appeared on an album "Represent" is the song that is being nominated

Closer than I thought. Nas gets the knod but AZ made it close.

Not sure if it was his debut verse, but Killer Mike's verse on Snappin' & Trappin' was a head turner for this listener...

nas isnt a huge star, he's not a very big seller; thats the only way to measure a star KJ.

nas is 2nd tier easily...not skill wise necessarily, but star wise.

There's more to being a star than record sales. When it's all said and done, nobody's gonna recognize Game or Jeezy as the greatest rapper of all time, yet many people bring Nas' name up in such conversations.

Jay and Em might be bigger STARS, but Nas is a STAR as are Rakim and KRS.

Just like Lebron and Kobe are bigger STARS than say, KG and Iverson, but they're STARS as well.

That Big L verse blows Nas' out of the water. AZ's is even rougher. Anyone voting for Nas is on some sack (except Wayne, we already know. JK)
