| Do any of you make year end mixes? If so, hook ME up. I don't recall any of you ever doing one though. But I'd like to hear what some of you feel is the best of the best. |

| I was gonna do one but it would look like biting. I might do one though.
My thoughts after one spin...not many songs grabbed my attention... nothing bad necessarily, just a ton were on the same laid back tempo IMO.
the Tiye Phoenix song was probably the dopest new song I heard on there, surprising since she is a female. Dope song. The Afro Classics, Grouch, and Bicasso were dope... the production had a lot to do with it though. Nothing I would call wack too much... Rise has an annoying voice... lushlife's style is lifeless though his production can be on point... slug still can't rap... but he tries really hard...the deep rooted song was cool... but I've heard that song sampled so many times... I've become convinced any emcee will sound good on it. |

| I may throw one together, but it won't have that snazzy artwork. _________________ Haterex: Drunk driving is an american pastime for me, and it's an activity I hold dear to my heart. I drive like a champ on the sauce

Thanks for the feedback. I do realize a lot of it is laid back, but I just went with my favorites. That whole Deep Rooted album is dope IMO. I'd give it around 4.5 stars. Great replay value for me anyway. Nice to hear you dig the Tiye Phoenix though...another very good album.
You should do a mix though.... |
