IMO the Spawn comic was better than the cartoon even though both were good. Gargoyles was a work of art both storyline and animation wise. I co-sign you about Todd McFarlane though. He's great but the Spawn movie was probably the worst super hero movie I've ever seen.

Some of yall are too old and some too young to remember Bucky O'Hare and Deadeye duck. It was about a green rabbit in space that Captained a vessel. I haven't seen it in a long time. Originally they intended to make a Space Usagi cartoon but it fell through so the developers created Bucky 'O'Hare to continue the project.

The Space Usagi comic is cool though.

Biker Mice from Mars is about a bunch of alien mice bikers fighting another evil alien on Earth who smelled like Limburger cheese. They had super powers too.

Street Sharks-the four white adopted children of a Black marine biologist and geneticist are forcefully mutated by the BMB's rival who wanted to make his own army and a superior species. The Sharks end up fighting the Rival's aquatic mutates in various battle all the while searching for their Father who was mutated but we don't see what he turned into. He helps his sons from afar.

Basically a lot of shows were using anthropomorphic creatures to try and make the next TMNT. None of them reached that level popularity. I think they stopped really trying to do this beginning in 2000.

I like Spawn but Gargoyles completed far more storylines. Spawn really left you hanging when it stopped. I admit Spawn was more gutter but Gargoyles got a gully as they would let them.

And Cise you not knowing who COPS and The Tick are is cool. You would've been too young to remember them. I vaguely remember COPS but The Tick was a trip. It was about the invincible superhero who worked in a city of equally ridiculous heroes and villains. The Tick was trying to make a name for himself. It was a lot satire. They even made a live action version of it.
