Mobb Deep

I got them in my top 50. The Infamous, Hell On Earth, Murda Muzik, and Infamy are all dope. Plus I don't think HNIC is too far removed from the Mobb Deep sound so i factored that in too.

I gave them top 100 - inconsistency has kept them from dropping classics - that and maybe the fact they hit their best years early and have gotten weaker since.

Top 100 for me. Not a favorite of mine, but I do feel their first two are undeniable classics.

Top 100 easily.

I never really liked Mobb Deep so I didn't vote.

Top 50 for me. I know Powell's voting that way, too.

Zuri, if you don't feel they are top 100, then vote neither. If no one voted on artists they didn't like, then everyone would be top 50

top 50 for me, their 2nd & 3rd & 4th albums are fire as well as the P solo. Even though they fell of they're top 50 material for me.

I'm glad Shon and Esco came along. I though i'd be the only one to vote top 50.

They're definitely among my top 10 groups of all time.

I agree with that, but Amerika's Nightmare was a good album as well. Not classic, but certainly 4 star material.

Amerika's Nightmare was 3.5

as was free agents...

they are a shell of their former self - and they do have two classics - but what they have become has kept them out of my top 50 personally.

We differ on those two albums. I have AM and FA at 4 stars. I have Infamy at 3.5, which is still above average, and Blood Money at 2.5. BM is the only Mobb Deep album that I truly dislike. I agree that their first 3 albums were clearly their best, but overall I still feel they're awesome. If they can get away from 50 I think they'd be "Still Shinin" once again.

Even Juvenile Hell was better than Blood Money, LOL!

Mobb Deep is easily top 50 and versus group's only top 5. There's not to many other group's who put out album's that I would choose over The Infamous, Hell on Earth and Mobb Muzik. Co-sign on a couple of the P solo album's being dope too.

Whoa, gotta agree with KJ, AN was one of their best albums really IMO.

I don't see how anybody can argue against it. They're as good as the Wu with a better catalogue.

I don't think so man, most of the Wu members still spit fire rhymes. Prodigy & Havoc aren't as nice as they used to be.
