| I am so stoked for this album! Freeway is one of my faves. I'm actually not a huge Jake One fan but I'm sure Free will rock the production | |

You should order from Fifth Element Online. The pre-order comes with a two free mixtapes(Freelapse and The Streets Made Me), a 15% off coupon for your next order, and a free download of the new single(explicit, edited, and instro version). With shipping, it was $15, or you can pick it up from Best Buy for $9.99. I co-sign it being a dope album.

| I'll be picking this up at 5th Element in person early next week. Freeway hasn't done much to justify my purchase, but Jake One beats usually never fail. The packaging is the main reason I'm picking it up though. | |

I don't know....I haven't read much about it. But wait, there is no Dan The Automator & Kid Koala, is there? While I liked their 2nd album (Demon Days), and felt it was great, I'd only be interested in something more similar to their first album.

| It has guest appearances from Mos Def, De La Soul, Bobby Womack (sold...lol), and Little Dragon (Yukimi Nagano is a dope singer, their self titled album is dope). Hell even Snoop makes an appearance (eh for me). I'm mos def going to cop this. | |

I'm not sure I feel the guests can carry it, so I'll check it out first.

Never heard that one, but I did see Grieves live with the Unknown Prophets this winter when they threw their album release party. Grieves was tight live...the dude was funny and was just a plain good entertainer. So I bought his album "Irreversible" at the show on a whim. Gotta say I regret that purchase. Dude was far more serious on record. The energy that I felt at the show was nonexistent. And he kinda melded a lot of indy rock into his shit I wasn't feeling. Overall, I didn't like a single track on the whole thing, so I can't say I will be copping his new shit.

The Grieves album I have is 3 years old and in the liner notes, he claims it took forever to record...so maybe some of the material is even older? It's possible he switched up his style with the Rhymesayers signing. And since I did dig his recent live show so much, I should probably check it out before I discount it.

I just copped "88 Keys & Counting" and damn I'm digging this one a lot. Surprising shit man, loving it.

| I've been bumping '88 Keys & Counting' all day today and damn I'm still digging this album quite a bit. Kicking myself now though, I wish I pre-ordered this on Fifth Element because they were giving away Grieves- The Confessions Of Mr. Modest (2010 EP) with the purchase of '88 Keys & Counting'. | |
