Is Ultramagnetic going to be done separately?

I don't think so since they only have one album but if you guys want them nominated so be it. Just let me know. Ultra should not be included for Keith because his solo career is strong enough and he was not the only member in Ultra.

Well, they had more than one album, but they only had one that mattered. So yeah, I agree. I was just wondering.

As for Kool Keith. He created a unique and influential style, and his best stuff is pretty damn good. But, he also seems to have no notion of quality control, so he's put a lot of middling material out there. So, I'm gonna say top 100.

I don't know enough about his music to vote.

Top 100 easily...especially if we're including Ultramagnetic MC's who released an all-time top 10 classic album with "Critical Beatdown" which if you heard it today with those "space age" beats hardly sounds dated IMO

they also released "Funk Your Head Up"-(4 stars) and "The Four Horsemen"-(4.5 stars)

now onto Kool Keith's solo efforts..this dude is the master of the concept album...heads always talk about how Ghostface has multiple meanings with his slang terms and albums...well Keith started that...Ghost borrowed alot of different ideas from him

Keith was always weird and way ahead of his time, but because of this he's (and Ultramagnetic) are top 100 of all-time easily IMO!

I will pass on voting since I never heard a full length solo album but I am thinking top 100 due to long career, originality, and impact on the undaground. Just like Paris I respect guys like this that still maintain a career without promotion or radio play.

I'm not sure how you can take Ultramag out of the equation. lol

Kool Kith is top 50 for me, but I will vote top 100 to help him get on. Ultra's first album is one of the best of all time and he has a number of classic solos.
