Well, NWA only released 1 album with the 4 mc's, and there are some other 4 man groups who may have albums ranked higher than SOC. Goodie would be an obvious choice for me.

Geto boys had 4 members on the self titled album, but all their best stuff was only with 3. eMC is also a group with 4 rappers, but only one album, so I guess not them either.
For the screw heads, Dead End Alliance is another group with one album.
I don't know why, but everyone that comes to mind only seems to have one album as witnessed above.
I think N.W.A ends this thread though, which is why I am just throwing out some other groups, knowing they lose
