E-40

Top 100 for sure. He really only has 1 classic IMO ("In A Major Way"), but I can see "Hall Of Game" also being considered a classic while it falls just short with me. "The Element of Surprise", "Charlie Hustle", "The Mail Man", & "Federal" are also bangers IMO, and his later stuff (I have not heard his newest) is solid. He's closer to top 50 IMO, but I give him top 100.

Never really liked E-40, I'm going to keep it completely real and the main reason is the man's voice...I HATE IT...

I've heard "In A Major Way" and "Charlie Hustle" from him and some of the beats were bangin

and I respect him as a bay-area pioneer....he's a legend..no doubt about that...he has influence and impact on his side too no doubt about that but that voice and his annoying flow bring him down for me personally...

I hate both of them (his voice and flow), which is why I voted neither here....

I just have to repeat the fact that you don't know shit about music that wasn't released on cassette dinowhore.

E-40 would be top 50 for me but i'm worried he may pull a Short on us and damage his status with his newer releases. IMO he has at least 2 classics and if you count his work with The Click it could be very well 4 classics.

I'm still unsure about E-40. Even though i like him more, my complaints about Fat Joe could apply to E-40. I love his first 3 or 4 albums and a few albums with The Click. Some of his latter albums are still decent though.

y'all tripping.... Ball Street Journal and Ghetto Report Card both bang hard - he has a few weak albums but nothing horrible..

Ball Street is dope - Grit and Grind was a little underwhelming... I skipped Charlie Hustle altogether - but 2 weak out of 10 ain't a bad thing

What Click records are classic, Kev? I never really saw them like that, but they are all very solid.

Game Related is classic to me and their 1st one is a bay area/west coast I thought. Charlie Hustle was just okay to me due to it not being well balanced. It has some good songs but then it has so many average azz trks.

im voting top 100 for E-40 i havnt heard maybe half his albums but i think the albums ive heard are enough to get him in

Top 100 for me. 7-8 years ago he would have been top 50 but i feel like he's lost some of his appeal over the years. "In a Major Way" and "Mailman" are all time favorites though.

i voted top 100 earlier, good thing too since he will need it to get in over the neithers.


i wished kevin had listened FROM THE START and done a points system, that way we could actually sort out the top 50 and allow 50 + 100 to count together...
