Distant Relatives is nothing short of perfect. I could find no glaring faults in Reflection Eternal on first glance, either.

I wouldn't worry too much. N3R0's down with Sage & Necro. Which is fine. That's his thing. It just suggests some fundamental differences regarding what he expects from his entertainment.

I haven't checked out any of the Reflection Eternals but I'll probably peep the second one. If its good like Kid Joe says it might be an incentive to peep the 1st one.

Yeah, i'll be picking them up during lunch too. Also, i'm not too familiar with Damien Marley, and i was thinking about picking up Welcome To Jamrock since i am familiar with the Welcome to Jamrock single and Road To Zion. Is this the best place to start?

No I was being sincere. And I'm not REALLY an east coast hater, but I do play up the stereotype I've seem to been branded with on this forum. I like Nas, but this release wasn't "it" for me. And, I'm not much of a Talib fan. I only own Quality, but had Black Star and the first Reflection Eternal at one point.

Maybe if Nas had Necro produce an album I'd dig it?

That's as good a place to start with Damian as any, if you dig the production and style on DR then you will dig it. If you want one of the dopest albums period you should find Buju Banton's Til Shiloh... that album is perfection.

yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I was just surprised they had those two cd's, but they didn't have RE.

I think I'm done with Talib, after this latest. Maybe if he does another short project, like Liberation, but he just doesn't have it for a full album anymore. Haven't decided on Nas or Sage, can't tell if they'll have replay value for me.

Damn! I forgot all about picking up that Talib today. Hopefully it's still on sale tomorrow. lol

The CD doesn't come out until next Tuesday I believe. I pre-ordered 2 copies. $11 each on Amazon Canada, and about $12 shipping...pretty steep, which is why it I'm glad a buddy (also a Shad fan) wanted a copy too, to make it worth the shipping.

I've been bumping the leak non-stop. I doubt you'll like it as much as me, but you should definitely give it a good listen. You'll probably see why I like it so much, since you basically know what I like...
