I wasn't peeping for Black C much, but I heard about this album and some tracks and it sounds like it might be a heavy hitter. Some of the singles are a little on the R&B side (well the whole album is soulful beats) but this lead off track is dope:
And these are the other tracks off it:

I was going to post something about this album. Been waiting for another Black C joint for awhile. The concept behind this joint is the exhibit the tone of music from the 70s and bring it out on this album. That's what he said in an interview. I'll peep these tracks when I get home. I'm really waiting for Moe Da Hustla's album to drop.

All 4 of those were good, I liked the 1st & 3rd the best. Sad that just Harris & I are the only one's interested. Nice post SRP.

I've never been a big fan of RBL Posse, but those tracks were dope.

RBL Posse was and still is dope even without Mr. Cee. Black C is doing the group name justice by putting more dope joints. Just wish he would do it more consistently without significant year gaps. Shaun, have you even listened to Ruthless By Law, Eye for an Eye, Hostile Takeover, or any of the group member solos?

Ruthless By Law is about 4 stars to me. An Eye For An Eye wasn't that good from what I remember, though, so I haven't looked into them after that.

Never liked RBL Posse myself but I peeped this and the beats were really nice, it has a nice vibe. The lyrics are pretty mediocre but I didn't expect Black C to be droppin' science exactly, so it was actually a pleasant surprise.
Pedro--noticed that Amazon seemed to have a mixup of this and "City of Gods" so I just got the digital.
