After listening to Blow Up! I had to get a copy of this group's greatest hits collection and I sure got my money's worth. 35 of their best songs in a sweet double album. I'm currently delving headfirst into the British acid jazz scene and I have been nothing short of impressed. Rarely, if ever, have I heard such music on the radio (local jazz station). Don't sleep on this group and if you are to get any album from them make it this one.
I rated these songs and let them marinate on itunes for a while and came up with 1 three star song, 4 fours star songs, and 30 five star songs. Its really that good. Funky, smooth, laid-back you name it. There are a decent range of varying styles but as long as you can tolerate the Hammond organ you should be ok.
Some of these vids will be repeats from the Blow Up! thread...
Youtube doesn't have quite a few of the songs I liked so...yeah
