Paul, known originally for his role in 1980s Hip Hop band Stetsasonic, worked with local storied emcee Superstar.
The duo would record a 1995 album called Horror City. Despite Paul's relationship with Tommy Boy Records and short-lived Doo Doo Man boutique imprint at Def Jam, he was unable to find a home for the work.
Today, Paul released Horror City to fans online for free. "I sat on this project for a while but it always had a dear place in my heart because I thought it was really good and the talent was there," said the producer in a statement today. Some of the instrumentals created by the Handsome Boy Modeling School producer would later end up on his 1999 sophomore solo album, Prince Among Thieves.

Finishing this up right now... the production is top notch as would be expected for Paul during this time period. Emceeing is cool. I can see some people really loving this. Personally, the emceeing could be better, but it definitely is not the worst I've heard from that mid 1990s time period.
