| Since this is a Al thread, I figure this would fit best here: For all that's interested, Fifth Element is having a 5 for $10 sale. You get to choose any 5 albums from this list. Shipping is like $5.50: # Abilities "For Persons WIth..." CD # Abstract Rude "Rejuvenation" CD # Atmosphere "Overcast" CD # Beyond (Musab) "Comparison" CD # BK One "Radio do Canibal" CD # Boom Bap Project "Reprogram" CD # Dynospectrum "Dynospectrum" CD # Face Candy "This is Where We Where" CD # Grayskul "Bloody Radio" CD # Grayskul "Deadlivers" CD # I Self Devine "Self Destruction" CD # K-Salaam "Real DJs do Real Things" CD # Los Nativos "Dia de los Muertos" CD # Mac Lethal "11:11" CD # Micranots "Emperor & The Assassin" CD # Micranots "Return the Travellahs" CD # Mr. Dibbs "30th Song" CD # Mr. Dibbs "Turntable Hardcore 1" CD # Mr. Dibbs "Turntable Hardcore 2" CD # Musab "Respect the Life" CD # Nikoless "This is Where You Got it From" CD # P.O.S. "Ipecac Neat" CD # Psalm One "Death of Frequent Flyer" CD # Semi Offical "The Anti-Album" CD # Soul Position "8 Million Stories INSTRUMENTALS" CD # Soul Position "Things Go Better with R.J. & AL" CD # Vox Vermillion "Standing Still" CD I copped Beyond (Musab) "Comparison", Dynospectrum "Dynospectrum", Micranots "Emperor & The Assassin", P.O.S. "Ipecac Neat" & Semi Offical "The Anti-Album". It's a good chance to check out albums that I probably would never cop before at full price. # Abilities "For Persons WIth..." CD - 4 stars IMO...mostly mash-up style. # Abstract Rude "Rejuvenation" CD # Atmosphere "Overcast" CD - 4 stars. I like this more than I did when first heard it. This shit is better than his other early work IMO. # Beyond (Musab) "Comparison" CD - 3.5-4 stars. Been a while. Musab's (aka Beyond) best rapping by far. However, that isn't saying much. # BK One "Radio do Canibal" CD - 4.25 stars. Dope all around. Great mix of guest spots. # Boom Bap Project "Reprogram" CD - 3.5 stars. Seattle Hip-Hop. Not bad. Not that good though. # Dynospectrum "Dynospectrum" CD - 4 stars. I don't actually play it that much, but it is good work. # Face Candy "This is Where We Where" CD # Grayskul "Bloody Radio" CD - 3.75 stars. Decent album with a dark side. Perhaps an improvement from their first # Grayskul "Deadlivers" CD - 3.5 stars. Same as above. Some nice standouts though. # I Self Devine "Self Destruction" CD - 4.25 stars. I Self's best work to date IMO. Great album. Some of Ant's finest production. # K-Salaam "Real DJs do Real Things" CD # Los Nativos "Dia de los Muertos" CD # Mac Lethal "11:11" CD # Micranots "Emperor & The Assassin" CD - 3.75 stars. One of their best albums, but IMO, The Micranots material doesn't do much for me. I got all their work. Their best is listed below... # Micranots "Return the Travellahs" CD - 4 stars. Their best album IMO. # Mr. Dibbs "30th Song" CD # Mr. Dibbs "Turntable Hardcore 1" CD # Mr. Dibbs "Turntable Hardcore 2" CD # Musab "Respect the Life" CD - 3 stars. Not that good IMO. Musab is just a boring rapper, as seen since his Beyond days. However, I must give it some credit, because it's a local classic...somehow...I've yet to discover why. # Nikoless "This is Where You Got it From" CD # P.O.S. "Ipecac Neat" CD - 3.75 stars - solid, but as I said previously, the Doomtree collective doesn't do much for me. # Psalm One "Death of Frequent Flyer" CD - 4 stars - totally solid album from a dope female rapper. # Semi Offical "The Anti-Album" CD - 4.25 stars. About even with his solo debut. Arguably his best work. DJ Abilities tears up the cuts with some of his finest production ever. # Soul Position "8 Million Stories INSTRUMENTALS" CD # Soul Position "Things Go Better with R.J. & AL" CD- 2 stars. This CD sucks. RJD2's beats are lackluster to say the least, and Blueprint is as boring as ever. # Vox Vermillion "Standing Still" CD
I copped Beyond (Musab) "Comparison", Dynospectrum "Dynospectrum", Micranots "Emperor & The Assassin", P.O.S. "Ipecac Neat" & Semi Offical "The Anti-Album". It's a good chance to check out albums that I probably would never cop before at full price.

| Oh shit...those 8 Million Stories instrumentals have been on my list for the longest. I remember getting "Things Go Better..." when it came out. Hot poop it was...
Already got "Self Destruction" (Me no likey).
In all honesty, I'm not seeing 10 albums on that list that would interest me at all, but if I'm gonna pay for 2 or 3, might as well take advantage...
Thanks for the heads up.

| Micranots is I Self Divine's group. Very pseudo-political, very pro-black stuff. He's not a bad mc, but his voice and straight forward lyrics wear thin on a full disc for me. |

| I copped 5. I got the 8 Million Stories instrumentals, the K-Salaam album, and those three Mr. Dibbs albums.
Came to about $16 total after shipping. Not bad at all.

Cosign. Dude has one of the most average sounding flows/voices you'll ever hear. Runs very thin on most full albums. However, IMO, production can save him on albums like "Self Destruction" (Ant) & "The Anti-Album" (DJ Abilities). The Micranots material? Not so much.

| Thanks for the ratings Al. I wish I had copped I Self Devine instead now. Out of that list, I already owned Atmosphere "Overcast" (one of his better releases), BK One "Radio do Canibal" (cool album, lost it's luster after a few spins), Boom Bap Project "Reprogram" (there's a reason why I don't big these guys up...lol), and both Grayskul albums (Seattle/ Portland hip hop, these guys are cool. "Bloody Radio" is my favorite of the two, both are dope though.) | |

Not all. But Ant does 7 out of 17 tracks. Jake One does 3. Vitamin D does 3. Bean One does 2. (1 track is uncredited). So pretty fuckin' solid lineup to say the least. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Vitamin D and Bean One are so damn underrated. How Self Devine got three of Seattle finest to producer on his album is beyond me. Jake One is Rhymesayers, but the other two I have no idea.

Jake One is Rhymesayers, but the other two I have no idea. How? Well, he's been recording since the late 80s and has a ton of material out. O.G. status was enough, most likely. Jake One was not on Rhymesayers at the time...
