# Semi Offical "The Anti-Album" CD - 4.25 stars. About even with his solo debut. Arguably his best work. DJ Abilities tears up the cuts with some of his finest production ever.

In all honesty, I'm not seeing 10 albums on that list that would interest me at all, but if I'm gonna pay for 2 or 3, might as well take advantage...

Micranots is I Self Divine's group. Very pseudo-political, very pro-black stuff. He's not a bad mc, but his voice and straight forward lyrics wear thin on a full disc for me.

I copped 5. I got the 8 Million Stories instrumentals, the K-Salaam album, and those three Mr. Dibbs albums.

Came to about $16 total after shipping. Not bad at all.

Cosign. Dude has one of the most average sounding flows/voices you'll ever hear. Runs very thin on most full albums. However, IMO, production can save him on albums like "Self Destruction" (Ant) & "The Anti-Album" (DJ Abilities). The Micranots material? Not so much.

Thanks for the ratings Al. I wish I had copped I Self Devine instead now. Out of that list, I already owned Atmosphere "Overcast" (one of his better releases), BK One "Radio do Canibal" (cool album, lost it's luster after a few spins), Boom Bap Project "Reprogram" (there's a reason why I don't big these guys up...lol), and both Grayskul albums (Seattle/ Portland hip hop, these guys are cool. "Bloody Radio" is my favorite of the two, both are dope though.)

Also, I Self's rhymes are better on the album. Not skill wise, but he gets personal with his lyrics for the first time ever.

Yeah. Self Destruction's production isn't the problem at all. I Self Divine just becomes a chore to listen to on quite a few tracks...

How? Well, he's been recording since the late 80s and has a ton of material out. O.G. status was enough, most likely. Jake One was not on Rhymesayers at the time...
