Steve you are not being honest. I know if you are anywhere near a true listener of rap music you get why some dig him. Not for you thats fine and I highly respect that but statements like that are really just str8 up ig'nant. To me Bro Ali falls in that elite field of soulful rappers like Pac, Face, Cee-Lo, etc etc.

Oh dear God. Because I disagree I am ignorant. I am being honest, my dislike of Ali is well documented. Putting him in Pac, Face, or Cee-Lo's category is a disgrace, fa real.

I think Ali is brilliant on the mic. He's deep, intelligent and a superior storyteller. I personally like his voice but I can feel where Steve is coming from. I know a lot of people on here like Vinnie Paz, and rightfully so, the dude has skills, but I can never listen to anything he does because his voice makes me want to punch myself in the face. I know others who feel the same about Aesop Rock, another who I think is brilliant.

Word up on Vinnie Paz. I can't get pass his voice either but i'll never say I honestly don't see why people like him.

That's some good shit there. Brother Ali's voice took some getting used to for me on the first listen but his music is dope IMO. He's always on my radar.

Brother Ali is a far better lyricist than Vinnie Paz. I like Vinnie, but line for line he's not fuckin with Ali at all.
