| Would you rather hear more guests you're unfamiliar with or just have it a solo affair? Like, is it better to break up the monotony of a new mc you're taking a chance on or just see if he can hold it down for dolo? |

| Gotta go with solo cd. If I don't know the artist and there's a shit ton of guests I never find out which is the artist I'm peeping. Example, I peeped BLH on Dinner & A Movie, the result is that I can't distinguish dude's voice. | |

| It depends on the artist. Some dudes are great at putting albums together, but they may not have enough material to fill it up themselves. | |

| I usually prefer 1 MC/Group with 1 producer. A few features don't hurt |

| I like for most of the album to be the featured MC with a couple of guest spots here and there. As for production, think that having to many producers can fuck up the album's cohesiveness unless the artist(s) choose their tracks carefully. | |

| I'd rather the artist do it solo, with maybe one or two guest appearances, but not features for an entire album. |

Same. Though one or two could limit it to only one or two songs. As long as guest spots are used sparingly, it's all good. But nowadays, everyone has an album of nothing but songs featuring someone. Can't people carry an album (or a vast majority of it) anymore?

Interesting thoughts. I can agree with this to a certain point.
