I might have picked Jay Stay Paid over Resurrection in terms of production, but not Donuts.

This is a tough choice. Resurrection had great jazzy production and is one of my all time favorite albums, but Donuts is the better produced album. Dilla chopped up those soul samples and created a great listening experience without any lyrics, which is hard to do.

Really? Donuts is much better though...IMO anyway...
Dilla gets this one for me. One of my favorite hip-hop instrumentals of all time.
