So there I was, watching MTV Hit right now and i see this guy's video, "College". An indie white rapper for the mainstream? Anyone know anything about this dude?

Dude gets alot of hype around here. Kev and SRP digs his album (I think)...personally, I never heard anything from dude.

Yea, he's been around. Apparently from what I've read and heard he is more lyrical than he shows on "I love College." I don't know but he doesn't seem like the kind of rapper I'd listen to.

Asher Roth isn't bad on the mic, but his music is light and somewhat childish. There were a few songs that were mature and personal, and that's where he shines the most. It's not a bad album, but you can definitely tell it's geared for white frat boys.

He sounds like he could drop an atmosphere-esque song(i'll take ol' Sluggo by a mile over this dude anyday BTW)...it's just the whole first impression cliche kinda put a sour taste in my mouth over this track...i'll check out other material.......

Cosign T Meyers. I would download it just to test the waters if I were you, Acrid. I personally wouldn't buy it though.
