I wondered where this fool went. Here's what he's been up to:
The song is hot, I can't front.

Well, my response is I've never been a fan of Murphy Lee or the St. Lunatics.

Lmao at both of you. I can understand why nobody was a fan of the St. Lunatics. Yes, they sucked. end of story, but I was really surprised by this song.
I would say that he might make a comeback, but you have to be dope first and drop off the earth to come back.

St Lunatics were catchy, I remember that Osmosis Jones joint and that Midwest Swing joint

They did make some good solo songs though. Air force ones was dope, Where's da Hook at? Nelly's Shake Ya Tailfeather was the jam. I think Nelly did a song with Chuck D at one point.
But they never ever sold out, so I can give them credit when its due.
Any thoughts on the posted video?

Air Force Ones was overrated ("I treat my shoes like my ride", SMH, lol), Where's Da Hook At, never liked that song. Shake Ya Tailfeather, I ONLY liked that because it was part of Bad Boys 2, a personal favorite of mine, otherwise, I'll pass.

See I don't need no fuckin' hook on this beat.
Murphy Lee was clever. By using a double negative in his hook, he was actually saying that he does need a hook on said beat. And he said it in the hook!

I like his verse on Welcome To Atlanta remix, not as good as Snoops, but way better than Puffy & JD. That's really all I remember from him.

Lol. The OG was 1000x better than the remix. They really got all the superstars together for that one.

I don't own any Nelly or St. Lunitics cds or have any dls of their music at all, but some of the songs that came on the radio were good for what they were when they came out. For me, they're for nostalgia value more than anything else.

Nelly was dope, and the St. Lunatics cd, Midwest Swannng I think, or something like that, was easily 4 stars

I did listen to the song again and it was straight, not hot fiyah like dylan, but few can reach dylan levels.

Murph was my favorite rapper in that entire crew. I dug his solo debut. I'd check for subsequent releases...
