All these guys are slavemasters . Im tired of the sucessful Black man mantra. these guys juiced their artist dry. I commend P for retiring out the game cause nobody was buying his s**t but Diddy needs to hand it up also. What has Diddy done for Hip Hop? A lot of the artist he puts under his wing fall short and become failures. Who da f**k heard a Loon or G-Dep album? What the hell happened to Black Rob? P.Diddy don't help anybodies career. he dropped Craig Mack after he had a Platinum album. He brought in Mase, the forefather of homo-rap. And diddy has the nerve to wanna rhyme himself. And I don't know whose a wacker rapper P.Diddy or Master P.

Suge is another guy that have hurt hip hop more than help it. Wow, people love his big bully demeanor but so what? Get off his nuts. Guy should have just done security for artist. He simply screwed rappers and took artist under his wing that went no where. Wasn't Petey Pablo suppose to be under Suge's wing? I give it up for Suge for not trying to rhyme.

These 3 stooges aren't worth the hype. And also, I seriously feel Pac wouldn't be with Suge nor Biggie with Diddy if they were alive today.

Yes I know Im ranting but gawddammit its been awhile

Based off what.

P, lacked quality control but he gave his team the knowledge but many didn't use it
Diddy, was inconsistent, (he could give you one great and that's it, only Biggie broke that trend in the hip-hop division)
Suge, was so shady his artists left him under threat

Suge was the worst by far. He cheated his artists, caused a rap war, and is no longer in business. Nuff said.

Let's compare classic Death Row albums to classic Bad Boy:

2 Biggie

_____________________

3 Pac
1 Dre
1 Snoop
1 Dogg Pound

And that's being CONSERVATIVE.

This poll isn't about who you like better, it's about who's been the most successful. Suge went BANKRUPT and Diddy's still in business. And Bad Boy's best years were more successful than No Limit's best years.

Therefore

Diddy>>>>>>>>>Master P>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Suge Knight

I would say Suge is by far the worst...he brought nothing to the game...and you can't say he brought us Pac because Pac was already established when he signed to Deathrow....Diddy however did bring out Biggie so that to me is enough to make Diddy ahead of Suge

and when you add on Suge's rep for trying to be a school bully it just makes him even worse...all 3 of these dudes have ripped off their artists...Diddy and Suge in particular but thats just part of the game...Russell Simmons did it...Andre Harrell did it.......Dee and Waah did it so that happens all the time in the music game...it's a dog eat dog kinda thang...

my order would be:

Suge>>>>>>>>>>>>>Diddy>>>>>>>>>>>>Master P

of the 3 of them I respect Percy the most.....I just think he's the most honorable mogul between these 3 choices.....and Suge is in last place.....

Deathrow records is deceased SRP...what are you talking about?? if it had more credible leadership then they might still be a viable part of the hip-hop community but they had Suge...I mean this dude tried to fight Pac's mom over control of his estate as well.....Suge is a piece of SHIT...plain and simple my dude...he is by far the worse from this list

Deathrow is not "deceased". WIDEawake bought Deathrow, and they have been re-releasing classic albums(The Chronic), and they are releasing unreleased material in it's original form. So Deathrow is still making money, and releasing "new" material.

Well yes and no. This is music that was recorded on Suge's watch, but he has nothing to do with the release of this music any longer.

I was just explaining that Deathrow was still techinally in business. You may carry on with your convo now.

Master P and Diddy produce beats just like anyone of us do. They hire some cheap producers, make them do all the work, and put their name on it. Is Suge Knight less of a man because he let daz and dre keep the credit, even if he screwed them over for money?

The main difference between these guys is this:

Diddy and P got on the mic - but they aren't good rappers.

Diddy managed to find a lucrative business in Sean John, hence why Bad Boy is still in business, otherwise bad boy would have gone away just the same, as is Bad Boy has jumped to different distributors.

So if you want to say Diddy is the best business man out of the bunch - that is clear, no argument there.

If you are asking who contributed more to the game? Diddy isn't even in the running.

Diddy discovered 1 rapper who impacted the game.

Suge Knight single handedly made the west coast the top coast in the game and P did the same with New ORleans.

Pretty sure Trotter is talking about business acumen, but you change the criteria to meet your facts, and change the facts when they don't suit your pre-determined outcome. This is the opposite of the scientific method, I shall call it "Powell's Factual Method".

Go read what Trotter wrote again Jeffrey...he clearly talks about rapping as well as business in his rant.....he refers the rapping part to just P and Diddy because of course Suge never did anything musically nor did he ever have anything to do with the music part of the game.....this is all well known Jeffrey.....

Do you read what you write or just punch letters on to the keyboard? Trotter was lamenting Diddy and P rapping, indicating AT LEAST SUGE DIDN'T RAP, MAKING HIM PREFERABLE. This is about business acumen, but again, make it about whatever you want because that's what you do when you can't win the discussion that's actually being held.

Good try. Mister Cee discovered Biggie, Ma$e was already rapping pre-Bad Boy, etc etc. Diddy discovered NO ONE.

Where the FUCK is he favoring Suge Knight Jeffrey??? like I just said YOU'RE STOOOOPID!

This isn't about business acumen, it's about who is homo. That would be Diddy.

If Suge Knight had a legacy, he wouldn't be bankrupt. Suge did nothing on the albums whatsoever. Yes Diddy did a lot of unnecessary adlbing but out of the 3 I would say Suge is worse, Master P at #2 and Diddy 3rd worse.

In interviews Suge is by far the worse. He stated the reason Eazy-E died of AIDS was that he never bought his Mom a house outside the hood. He stated Eazy-E made sure his Jew CEO at Ruthless was well taking care of though. So thats why God took him away. Im paraphrases ofcourse but thats what Suge said

Highsmith, man, usually you're more sensical than this. If Suge had a legacy he wouldn't be bankrupt? That's just ridiculous. 90% of all the classical artists who are considered grandmasters today were penniless when they died. And they influenced ALL modern art...that's just straight nonsense right there.

Bottom line, Diddy was and STILL IS successful. Suge went bankrupt and is done.

No matter what type of bias you want to use, you are not a better record label owner if you can't stay in business.
