Yeah. I feel that Mobb Deep has fallen off over the years. Definitely worthy of being in the running, but in my opinion they've fallen far from where they started at.

Pharcyde hasn't fallen off, to my ears. So they get my vote.

The Pharcyde was a dope original sounding group, but neither one of these groups are doing much anymore in 2010/2011 and if that's the case I only have the past to go on and then that means that Mobb Deep is killing these dudes and quite easily too...

group wise IMO this shit is not even close....The Pharcyde only has 2 albums of note...they made 4 but have 2 that are remembered

Mobb Deep has The Infamous, Hell On Earth, Murda Muzik all of which are considered at least 4.75 stars....I'd say 5 stars for all 3 but some heads have different ratings which is all good too......and Amerikaz Nightmare is at least 3.75 stars as well...and then when you factor in Prodigy well then it gets real ugly for The Pharcyde...because not one of their emcees can fuck with him, of course he is not the same as before but I'm basing this on both groups histories....this is all MY OPINION of course....just giving my take on this crazy looking vote, that's all.....lol

Pharcyde... I like guns and rollin with my dunnies but Mobb Deep needs to change the topic once in a while. Pharcyde is pure Hip Hop, all their albums are fresh... Remember "Infamy"? 9/10 for use as a coaster.

I like both these groups but Mobb Deep wins on the strength of their discog and longevity.

Was Humboltd Beginnings dope to you?? because that joint was extreme coaster material IMO....the Pharcyde didn't always release dopeness stop that...they had missteps just like anyone else...and both groups are PURE hip-hop so I'm not sure what you mean with that one??? Mobb talked about darker material while The Pharcyde had much more fun, but both were groups that repped PURE hip-hop music IMO!

Powell's right about one thing, Prodigy kills all the Pharcyde members. If I was a teenager I would vote for Mobb Deep but I just don't feel hard core shit as much as I used to. I'm not an angry kid any more. Not saying that Powell or anyone else is, that's just my take on it.

Humboldt Beginnings was kinda weak but I can still vibe with them dudes. I'll take Labcabincalifornia over any Mobb Deep album. When it seems theres no one to trust, you can always count on Pharcyde to bust!
