Nas - Stillmatic (12/18/2001) Nas - Illmatic 10th Anniversary Platinum Edition Nas - Street's Disciple (11/30/2004) Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead Nas - Untitled (7/15/2008) Nas & Damian Marley - Distant Relatives Jay-Z - The Blueprint (9/11/2001) Jay-Z - The Black Album Jay-Z - American Gangster Big Boi - Sir Lucious Left Foot... The Son of Chico Dusty Bun B - TrillOG DMX - The Great Depression The Firm - The Album Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele (2/8/2000) Ghostface Killah - The Big Doe Rehab Scarface - Made

| I gotta say OB4CL2 was most worthy of the release date anticipation out of anything in the past few years. | |

I almost copped D'Angelo's Voodoo, but they were sold out. I remember being extremely disappointed.

| I think I got 8Ball & MJG's Living Legends off break but not sure. Ball & G were having a signing that day so I got them to sign ALL MY ALBUMS. Nobody had more than me that day. True fan! | |

| I don't buy too many albums on their release dates nowadays or..well.....ever.
But here are albums I distinctly remember buying on release.
Gangstar--Hard2Earn
Gza--Liquid Swords
KRS-One-Krs-One
Megalon-A Penny 4 Your Thoughts
Snoop Dog--DoggyStyle (who didn't buy this album on its release date?)

| I don't really know. The only ones I know off the top of my head are...
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle Gang Starr - Hard To Earn Gang Starr - Moment of Truth Killarmy - Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars Outkast - Southernplayalistic... Geto Boys - Resurrection 5th Ward Juvenilez - Deadly Groundz
There's plenty more, but I don't remember ALL of them.
