| Since KJ decided that Lauryn Hill's solo and Wyclef's solo counted for The Fugees, I'll do the same here. So, Wu has Tical, Ironman, Uncontrolled Substance, OB4CL, and Return To The 36 Chambers on their side.
Even without them, Wu would win this easily for me.

| Damn, so much for this being a finals matchup. This fuckin sucks....
I'm gonna go with the Roots because they're the underdog.
And to Mystero, that dig sooo wasn't necessary if Wu would have won for you without the solos. I don't see how they'd win without them though. Wu gets slaughtered post-Forever. |

In my opinion, yes it is. |

In my opinion, yes it is. OK, i meant the combo of Still Standing and Soul Food. I'd still say it's close. I don't consider Still Standing a classic album. Goodie probably wins objectively on those merits but as I stated on the thread, The Fugees aren't gonna win that matchup anyway so I figured I'd show them some love. I spin The Score far more than either of those albums so that accounted for my vote as well. |

Black Thought line for line is as good as any Wu MC. Black Thought is one MC, when you have 9 MCs with the chemistry and lyruicism as a collective whole they have and when you factor in the "group dynamic" one predominant MC is not fucking with 9

Who would be idiotic to think to think otherwise? However, I can safely say there at least 5 Wu members that are arguably better than Black Thought.

However, I can safely say there at least 5 Wu members that are arguably better than Black Thought. again, this (Mack Blades) comment doesnt matter - we are talking about a group. Just b/c Black Thought is better than "some" Wu members lyrically does not determine who is a better group And again, Black Thought is ONE MC. These arguments are starting to get ridiculous, its like people dont take the group dynamic into account as much as they should

| How is it ridiculous? Name one person who has said that because Black is better than any Wu emcee, that makes The Roots the better group... | |
