| Has anyone else gone along thinking one thing about an album only to realize that their opinions have changed? For instance, i've always considered Shut Em Down to Onyx's 3rd best album, but i realized that i spin it more than their debut cause their debut just sounds really dated to me.
Also, I've always considered Daily Operation the best GS album, but i find myself reaching for Hard To Earn a lot more. Thoughts?

| Yeah I agree that Bacdafuccup sounds dated but I grew up with it so I don't mind the sound. I can see why someone would consider Shut'em Down their 2nd best.
Step Into The Arena has stepped up as the standout in their catalog for me. I just spent it recently after not hearing it for a loooong time. Maybe its just cause it sounds fresh right now but to me its their best. So I guess I had a semi epiphany about it. Daily Operation was not that good to me and now I see why I never spun the tape a lot back when I had it.
I recently had one with how i truly feel about my fav rappers in my 2-5 slots. I did some rearranging. I realized who i play a lot of and how low I had them. |

| That happens to me quite a bit as my opinions and ratings flux quite a bit (but rarely by a lot). |

Also, I've always considered Daily Operation the best GS album, but i find myself reaching for Hard To Earn a lot more. Thoughts? Good questions Terry. I would have to say yes to your first question. That's been happening a lot often lately, but specifically regarding Onyx, I don't feel Bacdafucup is dated, but I do give All We Got Iz Us the nod for their best album, and this is the one that I spin the most from Onyx, with Bacdafucup and Shut Em Down coming in at 2nd and 3rd respectively. I've certainly always considered Hard To Earn GS' best album and it's a personal favorite of mine also. |

I knew that, I just had to throw my opinions in there, lol. But overall, the same has happened to me and it's still happening as we speak. |

| The Diary has now become my favorite Scarface album after spinning it multiple times, and has moved into the my Top 20 GOAT albums. Previously it was The Fix, although I still love that album as well.
As for GangStarr, Hard To Earn is my 3rd fav from them, but with 4 classics under their belt there's no wrong answer for which is their best. |

| Wayne, you're not really qualified to judge what might or might not sound dated. You've only heard 4 albums post 2000. | |

who or what was it? It was Cube. He was at number 2 but he has fell to number 5. He'll more than likely never leave my top 5 though. |
