Give it up to Frank Sinatra for creating the first multi-artist super group with the Rat Pack with Dean Martin,Sammy Davis Jr, and a few others. If not for this innovation there would be no Native Tongue, Flavor Unit, La Costa Nostra ect. ........................maybe.

Also Sammy wasn't the house Negro people claimed him to be. He'd used the word WHITEY to call his colleagues during performances and supported civil rights. His jungle fever put white/black marriages in the spotlight and caused great controversy. A "safe" negro who was accepted by wouldn't dare marry a White women. Congress passed a bill considering the ban of miscegenation marriages unconstitutional. Before the bill Jungle fever was illegal in 31 states.
Anywhoo, YOuTube RATPACK and its hard not to be entertained by these guys together. Shit Im getting old.

The Rat Pack is fucking awesome. I've listened to them a ton. These dudes were always cool...
My favorite solo from the bunch would be Frank Sinatra's "In The Wee Small Hours". That album is ridiculously moving. One of the best albums ever made...easily.
