| vs. I was just listening to Vol. 3 and forgot how good it is. I get so caught up in Blueprint, Black Album, and Vol. 1 that this one gets slept on. Well I was just wondering to you guys how does it compare to Vol. 2? They are basically almost the same vibe albums. |

| I prefer Vol. 2 by a decent margin. It has more standout tracks IMO. | |

I hear you. But Vol. 3 has one hell of a streak of dope songs starting with Pop 4 Roc up to NYMP. Its hard for me to choose. I need to listen to Vol 2 again soon. Its been a minute. |

| I got them around 3.75 or so myself. Can't ignore some of the very average trks on both of them. They are also too guest heavy imo. |

Yeah, that's my main problem with them. Like Vol. 2, outside of the songs that got played out on the radio I don't peep too many of the album tracks. I peep more album tracks on Vol. 3, but there are some dudes too. |

| Never been a huge Jay-Z fan. Reasonable Doubt is dope (IMO), Vol. 1 was pretty good, Vol. 2 was bordering on hot garbage, and didn't care to check anything after that. | |

| GREAT topic here. Both are 4 star albums, but I prefer Vol. 2 more, and I also agree with Terry in that it has more standout tracks. | |

It certainly does have a streak of dope songs. Also, So Ghetto, Dopeman (the album's best song IMO), It's Hot (Some Like It Hot), Watch Me, and There's Been A Murder.

| Vol. 2, more so due to standout tracks
However Vol. 3 is more consistent, a bunch good tracks but nothing that left me saying great They really gave Big Pimpin overkill. I'm glad UGK didn't do a whole album like that.

Shaun, I hate to son you like this, but uh...what happened to your Jay-Z theory? Remember? Subtracting the number from 5 stars and giving the rating? You've gone on and on about that forever. Also, Vol 3 and pretty easily. Shit is 5 stars to this listener on the right day. Timbo>>>>> |
