What is your favorite album from this crew, solo or collectively?

IMO, there are three at the 5 star mark, but i play Silla's album the most.

SONOGRAM for me.

3 classics up there, but I dig Masters of the Universe the most. Just love the group feel on that one.

I can see why you like Silla more. I think he had a slightly better showing than One Be Lo on the Masters Of The Universe album, and I do think his solo album is 5 stars....and different from all the crew's material.

Obviously Silla is not as lyrical, but i loved the whole vibe of his album. I really liked the rock influenced production too.

Obviously Silla is not as lyrical? Maybe when comparing some of the stuff with his newest album, but Senim Silla was more lyrical than One Be Lo on MOTU IMO.

Yeah, i think most people hold One.Be.Lo in higher regard. I don't think there was a noticable gap on MOTU, but you can notice more on the subsequent solo albums. Silla still does his thing though. I wish he had more material available.

I don't know. I thought Silla was clearly more lyrical on MATU for sure. But were great though.

Yeah I agree with you about him being more lyrical (check his verse on Reality Check if you beg to differ) but OneBeLo was a lot easier to listen to and had some great wordplay. I think that's why he has been more successful than Senim.

But on MOTU, they were both extremely clear. I never had to try to hear what either emcee was saying. I'd say they are both common men.

One Be Lo wins here, but just barely over Masters Of the Universe, which Silla's just killed lyrically, he was stronger on that effort than One Be Lo IMO, but SONOGRAM is the best one from them overall, that shit just bangs!

Judging from all the love Silla is getting, I may have to revisit that album. I don't remember much of an impression being made. I picked S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. because that album struck me as classic from jump. I still play that album like it's brand new. And Decompoze did a lot of production work on that album.

Decompoze's album would be #2 for me followed by MOTU and The R.E.B.I.R.T.H coming in a very distant 3rd (didn't really like it).

Time for me to put Silla's album on, I guess...

More like distant fifth because Project: Fetus is better than REBIRTH IMO...

Speaking of the REBIRTH, what does everyone have against this album? Sure, it's a lot different (subject-wise and production-wise) than his other albums, but he's still lyrically sharp, and the production is still dope (minus all the sampling at the beginning/end of the songs)

For me it's mainly the production I didn't like on the album. He is still lyrically sharp like you said, but he should have choose a different selection of producers...

I thought he had a good selection on there. Those producers sound nothing alike, which gave the album good variety, plus all the songs were produced very well, IMO

Pretty much what Xcell said. It's not a bad album, per se. I wasn't "wowed" by the production at all, though.

Norfeest have you ever check out Project: F.E.T.U.S.? I think you should check that album out because it has dope production by Decompoze and Lo is dope as usual...
