2nd best Snoop album

Which Snoop album (in your opinion) is his second best after Doggystyle? (For the sake of this poll, I'm only going to include his albums that would be legit choices instead of including ALL of his albums, respectively.)

No Limit Topp Dogg

Its between Top Dogg and Last Meal.

I'll go with Last Meal but either wins for me.

I vote doggystyle, but since it is not on there I will have to vote for his best album, Tha Doggfather

I've said Tha Blue Carpet Treatment was his second best months ago, but that's changed. I may go with No Limit Top Dogg or Last Meal.

Well Snoop was dope on this album and they laced him with some excellent beats. Production has never been an issue with No Limit, it's been the lyrics. But Snoop sounded rejuvenated on this album. The only other No Limit Soldiers I really liked were Mystikal (when he was there) and Mia X, although C-Murder had his moments.

Incidentally, my 3rd fav Snoop album is Tha Last Meal.

Mac's 2nd album was ok, but Shell Shocked, I liked that one. C-Murder did have his moments (I liked the Life Or Death album), Mia's Unlady Like and Mama Drama were good, and Mystikal was ok with me.

Da Game....had too much Southern production to work with Snoop, but I did run Snoop World, See You When I Get There, 20 Dollars To My Name and Ain't Nuthin' Personal to the ground though.

Better than NLTD and LM? First time I ever heard that, but it's all good.

I know but it has a lot of nostalgic value for me. Tru Tank Dogs feat Mystikal always got me hype and Slow Down feat Mia X is perfect to kick back and spark to, Dogs Gonna Get Ya (Remake of KRS's 'Loves Gonna Get Ya') incredible track. I remember many skeptics at the time but Snoop signing with no-limit kept him above water, I almost thought his career was over before I heard "Snoop World".

Album gets 3 stars from me, respectively. I like those songs you mentioned. Signing with No Limit did keep Snoop's career alive, however, even if he didn't sign with them, he would've found a home eventually. What did you think of "Gin & Juice II"?

Vintage Snoop on that 1, plus it sounds reminiscent of a old Death Row beat. Great track my #2 on album after 'Dont Let Go'.

I like Gin & Juice II and Don't Let Go. Another one I like is "DP Gangsta".

DP Gangsta good too. Dont Let Go is as good as any Snoop track ever. You can feel his emotion and uncertainty of where his career was going, so he flexed everything thats dope about him to prove he was still the same Dogg we love.

I'm curious to know your rating for this album.

I rate all of Snoop's no limit albums 7.5/10. I just feel the first 1 a little more.

I can respect that. Oh yeah, 20 Dollars To My Name, Still A G Thang, and Ain't Nut'n Personal are good too.

I find it hard to believe that most people don't go with Tha Last Meal on this. I liked NLTD too but TLM was soooooooo cold it wasn't even funny.

Yeah I have Last Meal and NLTD at 4.5, but NTLD has higher highs.

Between Last Meal and Blue Carpet...Last Meal got my vote though.

IMO, they all suck after Doggystyle. But, if I had to pick one, I choose Blue Carpet Treatment.

Tha Doggfather is my second favorite. Funny thing is, my favorite song on there doesn't even have Snoop rapping on it (Blueberry)
