| It really wouldn't make sense for me to list my top 10, 2010, as if Powell would agree. Since he's really planning to buy these recs, it wouldn't be fair to him, either. I'll name a few I think he should check. If anyone has sensible input as to why those recs aren't for Powell...speak up. Warn him.
If anyone else can think of something for him put it out there.
It's Christmas time, everyone...let's help our special little buddy out.
Celph Titled & Buckwild: Nineteen Ninety Now John Robinson & Lewis Parker: International Summers 60 Second Assassin: Remarkable Timing
For starters... | |

Big Boi - Sir Luscious (you probly heard) Brotha Lynch Hung - Dinner and a Movie Ill Bill and DJ Muggs - Kill Devil Hills The Left - Gas Mask (youll probly like this) MF Grimm - You Only Live Twice (if you dont like Grimm you wont like this, maybe tho) Guilty Simpson & Madlib - OJ Simpson (a lot of skits, but the actual songs are top notch) Strong Arm Steady and Madlib - Stoney Jackson (dont see how you wouldnt like this) Capone N Noreaga - War Report 2 (good not great but in your comfort zone) Madlib - The Medicine Show series (if you like instrumental albums the ones ive heard have been dope) Super Chron Flight Bros - Cape Verde - not sure why Kid Joe didnt rec this cuz he reced it to me, i think youd actually like this Freeway/Jake One - Stimulus Package (you probly heard this)
the next 3 i have not heard yet but will as soon as i get to a store and/or order them, but ive heard really good things about all: Gangrene (Alchemist and Oh No) - Gutter Water Hell Razah - Heaven Razah Vinnie Paz - Season of the Assassin
^maybe you can tell me how these are

| I could see him liking Grimm, CNN (even though I haven't heard it), Freeway, maybe Guilty (haven't heard this either).
I didn't mention Cape Verde because I don't think it'd go over. It's my personal top pick.
I'll add: Killah Priest: 3 Day Theory K-Rino: Annihilation of the Evil Machine (His albums literally just keep getting better, imo. Therefore, just because you don't like his other stuff doesn't mean you won't like this.) AOTP: Unholy Terror

| I think you'll like the first two. Like most people have said, Vinnie's vocals are tough to handle over a full length anymore. That's why I didn't really dig the last couple JMT's either. I think the album is made up of excellent music, I just can only take 5-6 tracks at once. | |
