So I am bumping this in the car presently and came to an conclusion why I am not as excited about this album as other Face releases. It feels like MADE 2 but with leftover or leftout trks. And for it to suppose to be his "last" album that is not exceptable.

It has a few real standout trks like Can't Get Right and High Powered. But the a good amount of the rest feel to dang safe and uninspired. So what are your thoughts on this album?

I really don't think that this will be his last album, but you are correct. It does seem to follow suit as to what the vets are putting out these days (Face may be taking notes from Cube...LOL). But anyway, yes, this does seem to be unacceptable for a final album. It does not fit his legacy.

I really like the first half of the album. The last half to me was kind of forgettable, but I don't think i dislike it as much as you KRob. I think it's solid, but Scarface is so much better than just putting out a solid album.

I wouldn't say I "dislike" it. Because I play it and don't regret buying it. I'm just saying its a step down especially that 2nd half like you mentioned compared to the reast of his discog. Of course its better than Balls & My Word so its not the weakest album from him.

This album gets 4.5 stars from me, and I do also cosign that the second half of the album does go down a little. It did take me a while to come to the conclusion that this was nowhere near better than Made.

Yeah Wayne those ratings do not make much sense. But as long as it does to you I guess.

I got Emeritus at a 3.75. Made is 4.5-4.75 for me.

Emeritus is about 4 stars. Made is 4.25- 4.5 stars to me.

Those ratings are too high IMO Wayne. Both are good albums but I gotta agree with Terry and say around 3.75- 4 stars for Emeritus and 4-4.25 stars for Made. Emeritus has more songs that I don't care for on it. If you have Emeritus and Made at 4.5 then you must have the rest of Face's catalog at 5 stars then.

Well my rating for Made still stands, however, I'll revisit Emeritus soon. And for the record, I don't rate Face's other albums at 5 stars, lol. The Face albums I give 5 stars are Mr. Scarface Is Back, The Diary, The Untouchable, and The Fix.

I agree with your 5 star ratings of Face. Those are the ones that I have at 5 as well. Where do The World Is Yours, Last Of A Dying Breed, and Balls & My World rank on your list? Have you ever checked out The Product album "One Hunnid"?

I haven't checked out the One Hunnid album yet.
