Too many great tracks to claim any as best. This is one alot of his fans might not have heard, though.

Powell you should really listen to Kid Joe's pick. I know you're not a fan of Parker but that beat is ill. It's seriously one of Primo's best and dude gave it away for FREE.

Above The Clouds- GangStarr 1/2 & 1/2- Gangstarr Boom- Royce Da 5'9" MCs Act Like They Don't Know- KRS-One
Too many to pick a fifth, I can't choose, lol. I'll pick a recent one, though:

lol@steve
NY State Of Mind, Crooklyn Dodgers, Kick In The Door, I'm assuming those are the ones your referring too as three of his "worst" beats???
I hope you don't really believe that! And not even one of those beats is below any 2Pac beat?? I can't think of any Pac beat that beats any of the three of those, see if you can...lol and please don't say California Love...LMAO!
All of those beats I listed are fire IMO! but there is no best for Preemo my dude remember that!

nope, nas' is fire, but jeru, crooklyn and esp. the biggie was bad for premo, of course his bad is better than most other's best.

I gotta laugh at you again Steve because now I'm convinced that you have a vendetta against Biggie man
That "Kick In The Door" beat is straight bananas with the screaming Jay Hawkins sample blazin right through it...one of Preemo's best beats, he's even said this...
The Crooklyn Dodger's beat is fire and the Jeru was decent....lol, your a funny dude

what!!!! jeru is at his best lyrically on that song possibly, but that is the ONLY "wack" beat on the record, and I'm being serious.

You're out of your fuckin mind! Many people (even Primo himself) consider Come Clean to be one of Primo's dopest beats.

I agree 100%. I have no idea why people say Come Clean is Premier's greatest beat. That beat is fuckin dry. All it is is drums and a strange water pipe noise or some shit.

I'd say the sample is creative, but hearing people say that is Premier's best beat has always confused me.

Thank You Slang! A producer as dope as Primo can make shit like that work. Raindrops and coke bottles. That was truly innovative.

who fuckin cares, it sounds wack compared to the rest of the album. and we cant trust musicians for their favorite work of art, most the time they will say the shit they have a personal attachment to. now slang maybe your lil white college buddies say thats their fave premo beat but ive never heard a bunny say that
