Lil Wayne does what he wants

There's absolutely no stopping Weezy, the more you hate, the more he's loved. He can do anything and the crowd goes crazy. He released a shitty rock album were Korn did most of his songs and it went gold. Never mind those laughable guitar solos he tried to do on stage cause its Weezy Baby!!! He's actually remembering to turn the guitar on when he tries his solos now. Wayne is a innovator and accomplished what no other MC before him could according to BirdMan with no regards to Ice-T's venture with Body Count. And Tek from Smiff-N-Wessun and Necro could also play a guitar but who cares about them. Nevermind his horrible singing voice even in auto-tune. Doesn't matter that he rhymes about himself more than Jay-Z. You'll never confuse his rhymes with another MC cause he always mentions his name over and over. Wayne is extroadinary creative cause he claims to a Martian and can fly away in his space ship, who cares if Kool Keith been saying this shit since the 80's, Kool Keith is a nobody. I remember one Dj stating since Wayne started getting his bars up that meant other rappers couldn't get away with simple rhymes anymore. And you thought cats had to step up their vocal booth game when Nas dropped Illmatic, ha! Don't like his songs? Well I dont like cole-slaw but they put it in my catfish dinners whether I like it or not. Turn on the radio, if its not a Weezy song playing its a song featuring him. Not only is he the greatest rapper alive he's the only rapper alive. Wayne is the greatest rapper cause he says so, and his loyal toadstool-like fans agree. Ofcourse, even his Stan fans wouldn't call any of his early solo stuff a classic. Most people couldn't even name Wayne's first album. Hmmmmm.. all the all time greats dropped classic shit straight out the gates...Rakim,KRs-One, Big Daddy Kane, even Emenim--and they all had top tier lyrics comparable to anyone great and that time if not better. Not Weezy, he started out shitty (even for a kid rapper) and eventually got better so that makes him the greatest. If you don't acknowledge Wayne's lyrical dexterity than you must be def. Just listen to how LIL Wayne uses metaphors by saying word "like" in every fucking sentence. Ofcourse East coast rapper utilize the word "like" alot too but its only special when Weezy does it. Kudos to Bun-B for staying true to his southern rhyme form throughout the years but he'll never be considered the greatest rapper alive cause he doesn't emulate Jay-Z's or Pharoah Monch'ss style like Weezy does. Think Wayne has a good flow? Obviously you never heard him rap live, it sounds like someone choking a rooster. Just look at Weezy, 150k worth of platinum in his mouth , all those tatoos, way he sags his pants, and rocking Red do to his affiliation with the Bloods. He's so unque and different in appearance than other rappers like Flavor Flav.

We have people on this forum that do, though.

I have no real problem with zealous fans as long as they stick to themselves or are able to recognize that others don't feel the same way as they do.

That's just it, I don't go around saying LIL WAYNE IS DA BEST, but I do respond to retarded criticism when I feel it's undeserved.

I agree with Trotter on this. It kills me, but what can we do about it. This is why I don't pay too much attention to mainstream anymore. Anybody can say they''re great and everybody will believe the artist like dummies. Oh well. Every genre has their run of shitty artists.

Lil' Wayne is an apple-headed goon. He sounds retarded on the mic and his rhymes make no sense. I don't pay attention to the people that say he's the greatest 'cause look at his fanbase - a bunch of little pop-boppers that think Hip Hop flys like a G6 - they have no clue because they never stray from the mainstreem. If hip Hop is going to come back either the fans need to be schooled or these Hip Pop rappers need to change up thier style (if they can handle it). Same goes for these digital DJ's. They are fucking up the game as well by pushing Hip Hop further and further into the Pop-land. What happened to turntables, Sample loops and scratching?
