I'm on trk 13 of the 15 trks right now. I like it, its typical K Rino. So, I have no serious problem with it. Only knock if I am just being picky is its on the same vibe as his last few albums.

I dunno. I had it rated around 4.25 stars at first, but a lot of the tracks lost their replay value for me rather quickly. I just find myself wanting to play the 5 or so great tracks and that's it. You never know. I could raise the rating over time. I was constantly changing my ratings last year.

Yeah I changed a lot of ratings last year too. Gutter Rainbows is no worse than his 4th best album IMO, maybe tied for 3rd with Eardrum with some thought. Of the 2011 albums I've heard thus far, the only one I rate over it is Avengers Airwaves.

I just gave Gutter Rainbows another spin and it's better the 2nd time around. It's still above Beautiful Struggle and RPM but 4.25 is as high as I am going for right now.

Yeah I got you. I just decided to count it for 2011 since it has this version of it for this year.

Nah, it doesn't work that way though. Amazon will list albums re-released from 10 years ago as 2011 if they get registered for their MP3 service.

Yeah man, I'm a big fan of the band and I don't like the album. A lot of it sounds like music you would hear in the background at a coffee shop or at some store where they sell expensive plates and pillows and shit like that. A lot of repetitive drum beats, Thom kinda glides over every track, nothing really emotionally affecting on there at all. I guess I should have expected not to like it, the band is always changing up their style, and this time it is just not my cup of tea.

Updated my list.

I've spun the new CL album about 20 times, and it's gonna be hard to take my top spot. I know it's early in the year, but I just can't imagine an album better than this this year...

Yeah it sounds like Kno really built off the sound he had on DIS but took it too a whole other level . There are a lot of synths with a slight electronic sound to it. It sounds weird but he really makes it work.

Slang it's good, not many tracks. I've just listened to it more than the rest at this point in the year. I guess you could label it commercial sounding mobb. Smigg on 2 of the tracks is a +.

Shaun the only order they're in is the order I typed them in. You know Gucci, Wiz & Game would be at the bottom. The new 40 is great after 2 listens to each...Slaps tough.
