Any Given Sunday is soooooo overrated. It tried to be Major League but failed miserably. It's not even among the best football movies IMO.

But good call on When We Were Kings, I overlooked that one because it's a documentary but it was superb. Beyond The Mat is another great documentary.

LOL@ Above The Rim....now that was a forgettable movie, outside of Pac's performance IMO....if that can make the list then Coach Carter with Sam Jackson's performance is easily on my list...lol

Also I really liked that Mark Walberg flick Invincible a lot about the nobody that tried out and made the Philadelphia Eagles.....

Rudy was a good flick

and the new Walberg flick The Fighter was a very good movie!

I agree with all of the above, The Fighter is one of the best sports movies post 2000, Christian Bale deserves the Oscar for best supporting actor in that one. He was better in that flick than he was as Batman.

I like Invincible quite a bit. I still need to see The Fighter. I don't think Batman Begins or The Dark Knight are close to Bale's best performances. As a matter of fact i thought The Dark Knight was a tad overacted on Bale's part. Still a great movie though.

Yeah Invincible was dope. Walberg is slowly climbing the ladder on my favorite actors list.

I also agree that Dark Knight was great (probably a Top 10 flick of all time) but Ledger carried him in that one, and neither Batman was Bale's best performance. You'll love the Fighter guaranteed, everyone whom I've put on to that movie has enjoyed it.

I was just an extra. When they were playing the Dallas Knights I was in the audience with my cousin and Uncle. They filmed that part in the old Cowboys stadium. They did several takes, it was fun.
